For
more than a generation the Arthurs
Seat Scenic Chairlift has provided
a 20 minute journey to the famous
summit. You glide effortlessly through
the treetops to experience the distinctive
sounds and aroma of the Australian
Bush. The songs and colourful plumage
of the native birds are the only
things to draw your attention away
from the magnificent seascapes and
far beyond.
On
a clear day it is possible to see
Cape Otway, You Yang Ranges, Dandenong
Ranges, Mt. Donna Buang and even
the ski slopes at Mt. Baw Baw in
winter. Of course Port Phillip,
Port Phillip heads and Westernport
are much nearer and provide spectacular
views.
